Today, We Are Celebrating Heroes!

Here at STOP Restoration, we believe that it is important to give back from time to time. There are so many good causes in the world that deserve recognition, and today, we are here to talk about an amazing cause for veterans around the country!

Paws and Stripes was founded in 2010 by Lindsey Kay. Like most veteran families, Lindsey knew a family member who was suffering from PTSD and other traumatic experiences due to the war. Lindsey noticed that there wasn’t much coverage about the subject and felt like that needed to change. With a love for dogs and huge motivation to protect the country that she loved so much, she started an organization that helps dogs and veterans at the same time.

The Paws and Stripes organization is unique due to the fact that they integrate the important mental health component of war veterans with the training courses she provides. Not only does Lindsey and her team provide new mental health programming, but she has also rescued plenty of rehabilitated shelter dogs as service dogs to give them a new purpose and second chance in life.

Over the years, Paws and Stripes had many successes and continues to shed a light on the importance of mental health programs for war veterans. The team at STOP Restoration could not be more proud of Lindsey and her team, and we thought it was important to make you aware of such an amazing organization as Paws and Stripes.

At STOP Restoration, we love our furry friends and veterans, and would go above and beyond for them! Together, we can help Paws and Stripes help more veterans and dogs, and we are proud to say that we fully support this organization and would love to help. In the next couple of weeks, the STOP Restoration team will be handing out flyers and supporting this incredible cause. More importantly, we will be fundraising for Paws and Stripes and we hope that we can make a significant difference so that they can make an even bigger impact on the veteran community. With your help, we can make this come true.

If you would like to make a donation to this amazing organization, don’t hesitate to stop by STOP Restoration or give us a call to learn more.
